Welcome to Eranova
where science, myth, history, and the sacred converge.

Alan Young
I have always been fascinated by the questions that sit just beyond the edge of certainty.
Welcome to Eranova Press where we explore the hidden threads that connect science, myth, history, and spirituality. Why do similar mythological, religious, and philosophical themes appear across cultures separated by oceans and centuries? Why do civilizations rise and fall in familiar patterns? For what reason does science continuously reveal similar patterns in nature and our universe? My novels are born from that curiosity.
I write stories where forgotten histories, ancient mysteries, and emerging scientific ideas converge. I am drawn to the spaces where reason and wonder meet—where a historical artifact, a philosophical question, or a myth passed down through generations can reveal something unexpected about our world and ourselves. When I'm not writing, you'll often find me studying history, cosmology, philosophy, religion, and of course, many topics in science. I enjoy exploring the connections between disciplines and discovering how seemingly unrelated ideas can fit together into a larger picture.
My professional career has been spent in science and technology, teaching me the value of evidence, skepticism, and disciplined inquiry. Writing allows me to explore the other side of the equation—the mysteries that inspire us to keep asking questions in the first place.
Through my work, I hope to create stories that entertain, challenge assumptions, and invite readers to look at the world through a wider lens. Because sometimes the most interesting truths are the ones hidden between science and myth, history and memory, the known and the unknown. Kindly visit my archive for more meanderings and inquiries that occasionally find a home in my novels.

The Guardians - Gaia Trilogy Book 1

Coming 2027
Mourning the death of his grandmother, Dr. Geordie Burroughs faces a new reality. Ever since her death, surreal dreams haunt him nightly, and threaten to unleash traumatic memories he’d successfully buried for a decade. When strangers arrive on his small island home, showing him their ethereal abilities in the name of Gaia, his world becomes untethered. Despite his trepidation, he finds himself a slave to their gravity and secretly wants to learn more. His calm life of university research finally shatters forever when he reads his Gran’s last words – “We are different, you and I, and have been labeled many things; watcher, diviner, … witch.”
When an eccentric physicist billionaire becomes obsessed with him, everything spirals into madness. Geordie doesn’t know who or what to trust, least of all his own mind, but finds solace in the watchful eyes of his ancestors, and apparently, a large great horned owl. As a powerful enemy endangers Gaia, he’s forced closer to the truth, and must choose his path. Turning back means death, but moving forward requires faith he’s not sure he possesses. As the seconds pass, one truth becomes clear – if Geordie does not forgive his past and alter his present, he will not survive his future. And quite possibly, nor will anyone else.
